Tony Bellitto

Ever since I was a young boy, I have been fascinated by electronics. Every electronic toy I ever received lasted about two weeks before it was completely disassembled to see what made those things work. I was hooked, and it was perfect timing as electronic technology was starting to boom with the introduction of personal computers and advanced electronic components.

I followed that fascination into the Marine Corps as a Ground Radio Repairman, keeping ground troop vehicles humming with communication equipment through electronic repair and service. Working side by side with my Marine brothers and sisters to support ground troops for five years was one of the proudest times in my life and would carry me into my next chapter as a civilian.

After leaving the Marine Corps in 1995, and after a few odd jobs, I found my way into Contract Electronics Manufacturing. I finally made it to the source of my fascination, building the stuff that makes almost everything in the world work! I was exposed to a vast array of electronic components that I have never seen before, and they were
beautiful. Then fate jumped in. Most people in my company knew I had a creative eye, so they asked me to build a centerpiece for an upcoming local Manufacturing Luncheon that represented our company, using components and parts from products we built every day. It wasn’t pretty, but it was a hit, and ever since that day I have been collecting scrap electronic assemblies and components to create unique one of a kind electronic sculptures.

Through these years, my inspiration has always been my family, starting with my beautiful wife Dusti and our two amazing sons, Christian and Roman. We moved to the Grand Rapids area in 2014 to continue my professional career in electronics manufacturing, and after 10 years there we decided to move back home to Northern Ohio near family and friends. I continue to work in electronics today, and that little kid is still inside fascinated with the
things that make our lives a heck of lot more fun!
